I was asked to make a series of photographs for Kont Magazine #2 / 2018, an annual slow magazine curated by Griet Menschaert. The subject being a nonprofit organization that helps museums legally cull their collections. this dutch foundation is called 'onterfd goed' and it acquires a lot of disinherited objects that it hopes to find new homes for. after they agreed upon me nosing around in their collection, my studio was rapidly filled with objects from the historical collection of the dutch red cross and objects from the national museum of education. This resulted in a series of four still life photographs of orphan paraphernalia.
